Joel Emmett Snyder, 59, after a two year battle with cancer, died on Friday, January 3, 2020.
Born in Greenville, SC, he was the son of Emmett Snyder and the late Anna Spencer Snyder.
Joel was a 1980 graduate of Berea High School that never met a stranger and was loved by everyone that knew him. He enjoyed riding his golf cart at the lake with his dog.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his sister, Suzanne Sizemore and husband, Michael; brother, Randall Snyder and wife, Joanne; as well as one niece, five nephews, and several great nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held Monday, January 06, 2020 from 12:00 PM until 1:15 PM at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Southeast followed by the Funeral Service at 1:30 PM. Burial will be in Graceland West Cemetery.
