Norman Frank Baker, 84, of South Haven, passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2019 peacefully at his home. He was born October 20, 1935 to Frank and Marion (Cogswell) Baker in South Haven. He graduated from South Haven High School with the Class of 1953. Norman honorably served his country in the Army National Guard from 1953 to 1962 discharging as an E5 Sergeant. He later worked at Palisade Nuclear Plant for over 25 years. He was also a carpenter and a member of the Laborers’ Local 355 union. Norman enjoyed fishing on Lake Michigan and hunting. Norm will admiringly be remembered as an honest man with a driven spirit and genuine soul.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Norman is survived by his children – Anita Baker of Houston, Texas, Daniel L. Baker of High Point, North Carolina, and Cathy Baker of South Haven, Michigan; siblings – Paul, Richard, and Frank Baker, Barbara Jacob, Janice Moser, and Shirley Tichvon; six grandchildren. Heather, Elizabeth, Annika Baker, and Lauren, Brittney, and Ian Frewin

Services will be scheduled at a later date. Norman will be laid to rest at Monk Cemetery in Geneva Township.
