Carol Edward Wells was born March 28, 1938 to Zeno S. Wells and Alberta G. (Wofford) Wells. He married Margaret J. (Parsons) Wells on January 15, 1958 at Salem, Missouri. They have two daughters, two son-in-laws, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Carol died October 5, 2018 in Salem, Missouri at the age of 80 years.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret; his children, Carolyn Boyles and husband, John of Salem, Missouri, Debbie Peery and husband, Daniel of Columbia, Missouri; grandchildren, Amanda Davis and husband Michael of Las Vegas, Nevada, Scott Boyle and wife Brandi of Harrisonville, Missouri; Alisha Hosenfelt and husband Justin of Fulton, Missouri, Lisa Boyle of Lee's Summit, Missouri; great-grandson, Logan; great- granddaughter, Gracie; sister-in-laws & brothers-in-laws, Connie Wells, Frances and David Wells, Carolyn and Bob Carnett all of Salem, Missouri, Joan Wells of Licking, Missouri, Cheryl and John Robinson of Columbia, Missouri, Wanda and John McVeigh of Murrieta, California; a host of nieces and nephews and many cousins; and his beloved dog Ed.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers , Raymond Wells and Donald Wells.
Carol was a loving, husband, father, grandfather and friend to everyone. Carol loved and was very proud of his family, working and watching the St. Louis Cardinals.
Upon his request there will be a private service at a later date.
