Carol Ann Beaver, 66, died unexpectedly on Saturday, December 28, 2019, surrounded by her family in Maine.

She was born on September 09, 1953 in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Kenneth and Marion J. (Tyson) Smith.

Carol was an active member of the Newport Assembly of God Church as well as a talented member of Praise Him Singers in Harrisburg.

She spent firty years in the computer industry, much of it as an employee or contractor with Highmark.

Carol was a life-long learner and went back to college to earn her Bachelor’s of Science from Elizabethtown College in 2010.

She was a loving and generous wife, mother, daughter, and friend. She loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Carol was preceded in death by her father: Kenneth Smith.

She is survived by her husband: Philip M. Beaver of Millerstown; her daughters: Elizabeth (Mark) Bennett of Old Town, Maine, Ruth (Matthew) Beaver of Redondo Beach, California and Deborah (David) Rogina of Gray, Maine; her grandchildren: Mercy, Carey, Paton, and Tyndall Bennett; her mother: Marion J. Smith of Millerstown; and, her sister: Janet L. Miller of Millerstown.

A Celebration of Life Service for Carol will take place on Friday, January 10, 2019 at 02:00 PM in the Newport Assembly of God Church, 253 N 6th Street, Newport, with a time for visitation from 01:00 PM until the time of the service.
