She was named after an older sister, Adriana, born 6-Oct-1831 and died 26-Oct-1831. She came to California in 1889 per the 1900 Pittsburg, CA census where she was listed as “Adiana Demargo”. She died there 7 years later. There is a tombstone in Holy Cross cemetery that might be hers, but with a birth of 1847 there is some doubt. There is a high probability that the Holy Cross Cemetery records referred to her when they listed a "Woman DiMaggio" who died 11-May-1907 (buried in D2 S17 A2 G2 #552).
