Steve proudly served his country as a 24-year active duty Marine and retired with the rank of Master Gunnery Sargent in 2003.
Steve was a true patriot and loved America and gave a lot for the country he loved.
His service was highlighted by his time in the arena of Desert Storm, numerous deployments to Japan and South America, Drill Instructor at Paris Island and training Navy and Marine Officers at Miami University, Oxford, Ohio.
Steve was decorated with a great many medals and honors during his career some of those are: Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation, National Defense Service Medal, Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal.

After he moved to Middle Tennessee in 2006 he found a second career in real estate - where his dedication was also apparent and he excelled.
