Morris Ray Williams, Sr. the only son of five children, was born September 15, 1936 to the Late Eugene and Anne Mae Williams of Waco TX.

He graduated from A.J. Moore High and attended Paul Quinn College in Waco, TX.
Morris served 4 years in the U.S. Navy and an additional 4 years in the Reserves.
He was employed at the Doris Miller Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, VA Hospital, as a certified Nursing Assistant for 38 years, retiring in Dec 1995.

Mr. Williams married Emma Lydia Hall on June 17, 1961 and to this union one son, Morris Jr. was born.

In 1996, Morris accepted the Lord as his savior and joined the Goshen Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Harrison Community near Hallsburg. At Goshen, he served as Elder of the church, President of Men's Club, Church Clerk of the Session and Superintendent of the Sunday school.

Morris was an avid baseball and football fan, He especially loved baseball. At times, he was a baseball coach for the Southern Little League. He also was the coach of two teams, which his son, Morris Jr. played on.
Morris was a fierce dominoes and checkers player. He and his double first cousin, Alexander Williams played numerous games of dominoes and checkers.

On Sunday, December 1, 2019, at Providence Village Hospice Care, he transitioned from his earthly life and now is present with the Lord.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Annie Williams and his oldest sister, V. Ella Williams.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his devoted wife, Emma L. Williams; devoted son and daughter-in-law, Morris Williams Jr. (Jocelyn): sisters, Maggie Williams (Claud); Barbara Williams and Carolyn Wlliams; one
niece, Bylintha Dykes-Porter; one nephew, Reginald Williams: a double first cousin, Alexander "Alex" Williams; his special nieces and nephews, Ethel Sneed Dowuona (Eddie); Clarice Sneed Kirkpatrick, (Carver); Algie "Rita" Sneed Watson; special cousin, Roxie Johnson Collier (Tim); and a host of other relatives and friends.
