Resident of North Western StrickenWhite Eating Breakfast—Widow of George Cavanaugh.

North Western. April 3. Mrs. Anna M Cavanaugh, a well-known resident of this village, was stricken by heart disease while at the breakfast table with her daughter yesterday morning and died within a few minutes. Mrs. Chandler was the widow of George Cavanaugh and was born in Booneville Jan. 8, 1858 She was the only daughter of the late Calvin H. and Anna M Chandler. She was of New England pioneer stock, her father's ancestors being among the founders of the Massachusetts Bay Colony, coming there from England in1854. Her great grandparents on her mother’s side emmigrated from Connecticut to Booneville driving an ox car. They were among the founders of the First Presbyterian Church of Booneville, NY. Mrs. Cavanaugh united with the Presbyterian church in her girlhood. On Oct. 28, 1831 she was united in marriage in Verona, to George Cavanaugh who died four years ago. Besides one brother, Clark P. Chandler of Verona, she leaves the following children to mourn the los of a most devoted mother: Misses Cornelia and Alice who live at home; Mrs. David A. Abbuhl of Canterbury Hill, Mrs. Arthur E. Corr of Lee Center, Mrs. W. Jardin Newey and Mrs. Harry D. Macomber of Quaker Hill; Burton B. of Floyd, Earl J. of Indianapolis, and Charles H. of Erie, Pa The funeral will be held Friday at 1 p.m. Internment will be made at Westerville’s Cemetery beside her husband.
