Lula Elizabeth Capers, 83, of Brunswick died Feb. 20, at her residence.

Mrs. Capers was educated in the Liberty County school system and moved to Glynn County at a young age. She was an active member of First Jordon Grove Full Gospel Baptist Church who retired from Sea Harvest Seafood with more than 35 years of service.

She is survived by three daughters, Annie Mae Lawrence of Ft. Pierce, Fla., Shirley Seymour of Mableton and Debra Vereen of Brunswick; six sons, Robert Bacon of Chicago, Charles Bacon, Frank Bacon, Henry Bacon and Keno Capers, all of Brunswick, and Elijah Capers of Savannah.

The funeral service was to have been at 11 a.m. Monday at First Jordon Grove Full Baptist Church.

R.L. Jones & Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
