Jo-Ann was born in Pinconning, Michigan to Homer and Helen Bishop on August 28, 1935. She worked as a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service for 18 years. She was involved in volunteer work at Advent House.
JoAnn is preceded in death by her parents and her sisters Helen Bishop and Margaret Guilbault-Ignasiak. She is survived by her sons Timothy(Margaret), Robin(Elaine), Jeffrey(Shelly) and Michael Hill, her brothers Eugene(Bertha) and Paul Bishop, six grandchildren, one great grandchild, nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will be held at St. Ann's Community Chapel for family and friends. Services and burial will follow at St. Michael's Cemetery in Pinconning, MI during a private service. Arrangements are by Willard Scott Funeral Home in Webster, NY.
