Mrs. West was a devoted homemaker. She was a loving wife and mother and was an excellent cook, baker and seamstress. She enjoyed playing bridge and golf and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Parkersburg.
Surviving is her husband of 67 years whom she married August 31, 1952, Norman E. West Sr, daughter Elizabeth Ann Mullins (Timothy) of High Point, NC, son Norman E. West Jr. (Joan) of Plano, TX, brother William Hornsby of Orlando, FL, three grandchildren: Kristen, Emily and Jeffrey and five great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be Saturday 3PM at the First United Methodist Church, 1001 Juliana Street Parkersburg with Reverend Alicia Randolph Rapking officiating. A time of gathering for family and friends will be one hour prior to services. Her cremated remains will be laid to rest alongside her family in Belle Plaine Cemetery, Texas.
