In addition to his father and step-mother, he is survived by his son Christopher H. Hess of Crystal City; a brother Thomas (Vicki) Hess, Jr. of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina; sisters Cynthia (Rev. Ron) Sutton, of Hillsboro, Missouri, Christina Patterson of Barnhart, Missouri, and Barbara (Sam) Rush of Crystal City; grandchildren Austin Keller Hess, and Emily L. Hess; great-granddaughter Aleeah Delph; numerous nieces and nephews; 4 step-brothers; 2 step-sisters and numerous step-nieces and step-nephews.
He was a registered nurse and worked at the Southeast Missouri Mental Health Center in Farmington, Missouri, and is of the Citizen Band Potawatomi Indian Nation.
Visitation from 5:00 P.M. until the time of funeral service at 7:00 P.M., Friday, February 2, 2018 at Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus, Missouri. Interment at a later date in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Crystal City. Memorials in Tim's memory may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
