Ronald James Mays, 46, a longtime Belleville [MI] resident, passed away unexpectedly August 14, 2017. He was born June 19, 1971 in Garden City, MI to William C. and the late Shirley Ann (Canell) Mays. He is survived by his father William and brothers Roy Mays of Belleville and Roy (Tracy) Dailey of Murietta, CA.
Ronald was a graduate of Belleville High School, Eastern Michigan University and Marygrove College. Ronald was a former teacher of Belleville High School and also served as a coach for both football & baseball. Ronald had dedicated his life to being a mentor and role model for his students and any other youth that he had contact with. He loved to work with kids and went above and beyond to help them in any way he could. He will be greatly missed.
