Everett Eugene "Gene" Campbell, 88 of Dayton, OH., passed away on December 29, 2019 at Hospice of Dayton. Gene was a long-time member of Greenview Calvary Tabernacle. He was born in 1931 in Morehead KY. He worked at Pressworks, a tool and die shop in Michigan and retired after 40 years. He was an avid bowler, liked to garden and loved antique cars. He was preceded in death by his parents, Everett and Addie; 9 sisters; and 4 brothers. Gene is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy and his 4 children, Larry (Barb) Campbell of Callahan, Florida, Phyllis (Tom) Davis of Morehead, Kentucky, Brenda (Rick) Wise of Lexington, Kentucky and Rick Campbell of Morehead Kentucky. He loved and enjoyed his 8 grandchildren, his 12 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be 1:00 PM, Thursday, January 2, 2020 at MORRIS SONS FUNERAL HOME 1771 E. Dorothy Ln. Kettering, OH. with Pastor Tim Livingston officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior at the funeral home. Graveside Service 11:00 AM, Friday, January 3, 2020 at Dillon Cemetery, Morehead, KY.
