Surviving wife, Mrs. Lillian Collins; son, Ernest Jerry Collins, California and daughter, Mrs. Donna Collins Foster, Texas; brothers, Chester A. Collins, Birmingham; James A. Collins, Georgia; sister, Miss Myrtle Collins and Mrs. Gladys Mitchell both of Gadsden and 7 grandchildren. Funeral service Friday 1 p.m. Collier-Butler Funeral Home, Gadsden and burial in Forrest Cemetery. He was a native of Etowah County; member of Dwight Masonic Lodge 550 F&AM and a retired postal employee with 44 years service.
