Timothy W. Daniel was born in Roswell, NM on May 31st, 1938. Tim passed away December 6th, 2019 due to natural causes. He was 81 years old at the time of his death. He passed away in his home in Lubbock, TX. Tim was born to Catherine and Winston Daniel of Roswell, NM. His father owned a Paint and Glass store where he worked through his younger years.

He attended New Mexico Military Institute (NMMI), in the early 1950's. He then joined the Air Force in 1955. He was ultimately shipped to Guam where he was assigned a Sentry Dog Post.

After four years in the Air Force he came back to Roswell where his mother and father still lived. He then worked for his father at "Daniel Paint & Glass" for four years. During this time he met and married Yvonne Floyd. During this time he was approached by an Executive at New York Life Insurance Company (NYLIC) to come and work for them. He began work with NYLIC in the early 1960's. He quickly went up through the ranks and became one of the top salesmen. He was a member of the "Chairman's Council" and he was also a member of the "Million Dollar Round Table". While he gained much experience selling life insurance he wanted to do more. So he became a "Certified Financial Planner "while still selling life insurance. With the help of his wife, Yvonne, they excelled in Estate Planning in the Southeast region of the US and they eventually started their own firm "The Daniel Organization". At his retirement, Time was ranked in the top 100 of 45,000 New York Life Agents.

Tim was a wonderful dancer. He was taught by his father Winston Daniel and his mother Catherine Daniel. Time became a Certified Nutritionist in 1987. He was an athlete and exercised daily. He competed in the Roswell Olympics in the 1970's.

Tim is survived by his children Tracy Daniel Nelson and husband Doug of Lubbock, TX, Kelly Daniel Wickersham and husband, Jamie of Lewisville, TX, and Timothy Wilson Daniel, Jr. and wife, Karen of Lubbock, TX and his only granddaughter Tracy Nicole Wickersham of Lewisville, TX. Time lived a full life. It was one that proved difficult for him at times, but, he was a strong man and persevered through so much in his 81 years.
