He died Friday, December 27, 2019 at Forrest General Hospital.
Interment will be in Sunrise Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. McLeod was a self-employed bricklayer. He was a Deacon, Sunday School Teacher, and member of the building grounds committee of Sunrise Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Ruby McLeod and a brother, Dan McLeod.
He is survived by Marie Asline Robinson McLeod of Petal, MS; one son, Greg McLeod of Petal, MS; one daughter, Tammy Sledge of Petal, MS; three sisters, Lou McLeod of Lucedale, MS, Ann Summersell of Mobile, AL, and Jackie Merritt of Lucedale, MS; one brother, Doug McLeod of Fort Valley, GA; four grandchildren, John Duke McLeod, Cody Sledge, Kayla Sledge, and Tori McLeod; one great-grandchild, Everleigh Sage McLeod.
Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM Sunday at Sunrise Baptist Church.
