Born in Rayville, La was the son of the late Arthur and Nellie Robertson Brown and husband of Mary Ann Allen Brown. He was a retired truck driver and veteran of WWII and the Korean War. He served in both the Navy, aboard the USS Atlu and the USS Talagi, and in the Army. He was awarded the Victory Ribbon and the Asiatic Pacific Ribbon.
He is survived by sons, Ricky Brown of Rayville, La, William Edward Brown of Mt. Pleasant and David Wayne Brown of Spring Hill, Tn, Kenny Tracy Brown of Columbia, Tn and Timmy Brown of Tn. A brother, Charles Cecil Brown of Rayville, La, a sister, Robbie Nell Brown Harvey, twelve grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Frederick Arthur Brown, a wife, Marjorie May Brown and a daughter, Tammy Brown.
Pallbearers will be Billy Kennedy, Carl Brooks, Mark Kerey,Leonard Romeo, Kevin Lance, and John Baker. Honorary Pallbearers will be Terry Lendsey, Dr. Couch, Roy Cothran,Eddie Brown and Jr.Romeo
