Mrs. Marlene June (Golden) Jackson, age 81 of Birmingham, AL passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at her residence.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years – Garnett Caraway Jackson of Birmingham, AL; her son and daughter-in-law – Perry and Terre Jackson of Mt. Brook, AL; her grandchildren – Riley, Chapman, Addison, and Grantham Jackson; her sister – Ruth Music of Shelby County, AL; her sister-in-law – Janell Jackson; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Mrs. Jackson is preceded in death by her parents – John and Bertha (Hopper) Golden; her siblings – Marie Matthews, Lois Havens, Christine Erwin, Mary Phillips, and Howard Golden; her brother-in-law – Garth Jackson; and her sister-in-law – Nancy Ryan.
Brother Don Graham and Brother Chris Lamb will conduct the Funeral Service on Saturday, January 4, 2019 at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow at New Emmaus Cemetery. Mrs. Jackson will Lie-In-Repose, at Snead Funeral Home, Saturday from 12(noon) until Funeral Time.
Pallbearers will be – Tim Phillips, Jeff Erwin, Alan Erwin, John Jenkins, Pete Golden and Freddie Golden.
