Terry Douglas Myers, 66, passed away at Bellevue Care Center on Sun., Dec. 29, 2019. He was born in Fremont to RB and Eloise (Ruble) Myers. On April 25, 1987, he married Tina Miller.
Terry was a Fremont Ross 1971 graduate. He served his country in the US Air Force during the Vietnam era being stationed in Mildenhall, England. After his discharge, Terry worked for the Sandusky County Sheriff’s Office where he became a Sergeant, retiring in 2008.
He enjoyed golf and was a fan of the OSU Buckeyes. He was a motorcycle enthusiast and would spend time “working” on his bike and other projects in his barn. Terry was a member of the American Legion and New Hope Vineyard Church.
Surviving is his wife of 32 years; sons, Jason (Jenae) Myers of Charlotte, NC, Justin (Tera) Myers of Westerville, OH and Ryan Myers of Fremont, OH; grandchildren, Alexa, Blaize, Mila, Walker, David, Elijah, Zachary and Renee; mother, Eloise of Fremont; and brother, Chris (Delfina) of Maryland Heights, MO.
Terry is preceded in death by his dad, RB and brother, Larry.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 3, 2020 from 1-5 pm at Herman-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 900 North Street, Fremont, Ohio, 43420. Memorial Services will begin 5:00 pm. Associate Pastor Nancy Cullen will officiate, and Military Honors will be rendered.
Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or the Sandusky Township Fire Department.
