Mr. Steven Leroy McDonald was born November 12, 1948 in Charlotte, North Carolina left this world sometime between 11 p.m. on Christmas night and December 26, 2019 at home.

Steven attended Mt. Holly High School and then enlisted into the Army. He was a Vietnam Veteran and later went into the Army Reserves.

Steven was preceded in death by his parents: Wilburn and Eleanor McDonald; one brother: Randy McDonald and his son: Cory Steven McDonald and his second wife: Joyce McDonald.

He leaves behind to carry on his memories, his one daughter: Jada McDonald McKinney, two granddaughters: Kenesha Jace Sanders and Cory Hope McKinney of Gastonia, North Carolina and one great granddaughter: Sakiyah Dallas Brown of Charlotte, North Carolina; and a host of other relatives and friends.

He also leaves behind his best friend, confidant, first wife and mother of his two children: Billie Ann Brooks.
