East Palestine, Ohio- Douglas Robert Logan, 57, of Adams Road passed away Sunday, December 29, 2019 at his residence.

Born February 4, 1962, he was a son of Robert “Bob” Logan of Chester, West Virginia and Dorothy Hall Foutts of Calcutta, Ohio. A lifetime area resident, he was the owner & operator of LSW Sanitation in Chester.

A member of both the ITAM and SOI clubs, he was an avid hunter, golfer, and he loved the outdoors and nature. He loved to travel the world, always seeked finding new things and he always encouraged others to do the same. For many years he was involved in coaching his children during their days of youth sports. Most of all, he loved being a father and grandfather to his family.

He was preceded in death by his step-father, James Foutts.

Friends may visit the family on Thursday from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Dawson Funeral Home in East Liverpool, Ohio. Pastor Norm Eckert of the Beechwood Free Methodist church will officiate a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery in Wellsville, Ohio.
