Georgia F. (Rouse) West was born on Tuesday; February 22, 1927, in Buchanan County, Iowa. Georgia was the daughter of Clarence Rouse and Florence Amelia (Jacobs) Rouse. On Sunday; June 24, 1951 she was united in marriage to William LeRoy West at the Brandon Methodist Church in Brandon; Buchanan County, Iowa. They farmed in the Brandon area for many years. Bill preceded her in death on Wednesday; October 11, 2006. Georgia graduated from Brandon High School in 1944. She was a active member of the Brandon Methodist Church, the Neighborhood Social Club and had been a 4-H leader for 16 years.

Those left to mourn her passing are: Her daughters: Glenda and her husband: Al Westphal of Rowley; Buchanan County, Iowa. Gloria and her husband: Keith Persson of Claremore; Rogers County, Oklahoma. A son: Gordon and his wife: Kimberly West of Brandon, Iowa. Fourteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren. A sister: Elaine Brunko of Brandon, Iowa. In addition to her husband William, she is preceded in death by her parents, one son: Greg West. Infant twin daughters, three brothers and one sister. May they rest in peace.
