He departed this life December 29, 2019 in Calico Rock, Arkansas at the age of 78 years, 9 months and 22 days. He spent his life as a loving son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend. For 45 years he owned and operated Watson Brothers Station in Pineville.
He leaves to cherish his memories two nieces: Janet Cox and husband Kevin and Julie Lewis and husband Bub all of Pineville; one sister-in-law: Carolyn Watson of Pineville; two great nieces: Kayla DeLoach (Damian) of Batesville, Sammie Holladay (Logan) of Violet Hill; two great nephews: Jesse Cox of Pineville and Tyler Lewis (Savannah) of Ida, Arkansas; 10 great nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and many good friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother: Sammy H Watson and one nephew: Sammy Joe Watson.
Graveside funeral service will be Tuesday, December 31 at 1:00 p.m. at Pineville Cemetery with Logan Holladay officiating.
