Paula Jeanette Walker, age 93, passed away Nov. 9, 2019, at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville, Ark. She was born April 9, 1926 in Larned, Kansas, to Paul and Jenny Barstow.
Paula grew up on a farm in Macksville, Kansas, and was a homemaker and bank teller, and wife to Vernon, who preceded her in death on November 19, 2014. Paula and Vernon moved to Bella Vista, Ark. in 1975 [1977]. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Bella Vista, Ark.
Paula is survived by sons Doug, of Kansas City, Mo., Mark, of Wichita, Kan., and Hal (Beth), of Bella Vista, Ark. Also surviving are her brothers Henry F. Barstow and Marlan D. Barstow, grandchildren Adam, Alex, Ericka, and Jordan, and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 11 am on March 20, 2020 at First United Methodist Church, 20 Boyce Dr., Bella Vista, Ark. A graveside service will follow at the Fayetteville [Ark.] National Cemetery at 2 pm.
