Peggy Lentz went to be with her Lord on December 22, 2019 at the age of 77 years in Hobbs, New Mexico. She was born in Wellman, Texas on February 27, 1942.

She married her best friend and soul mate, Richard Lentz, on February 12, 1976. They went everywhere together and loved watching the Cowboys and Rangers games. They spend their free time raising horses and taking care of many other animals.

She loved to read her Bible, spend time with family, laughing and always wearing a smile on her face.

Peggy was a loving and caring person, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, always thinking of others first.

She loved new technology and was not intimidated by new gadgets in the least.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Winnie Burnett, her brother, Buford Burnett, two sisters, Anita Schlueter and Mona Sue Rowland. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Richard Lentz; son, Rodney Hare, Lubbock, TX; daughter, Lela Roe and husband Monte, Hobbs; grandson, Brandon Waters and wife, Meghan, Hobbs; granddaughter, Aimee Murray and husband Jimmie; great grandchildren, Cooper, Tryston, Logan, Andi Jo and Nolan, Hobbs; sister Lea Criswell, Lubbock, TX, and nieces, nephews and friends.
