Pearl Ramsey Winchester, 88, of Garrard County, passed away Saturday, December 28, 2019 in Lexington. Born June 15, 1931 in Wayne County, she was a daughter of the late William Taft & Josie Eller Ramsey. Pearl was a retired employee of Genesco, a homemaker and a farmer. Pearl’s family was her greatest love, but she was also an avid quilter who enjoyed crocheting and cooking. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three sons, Jackie Ray Winchester, Michael Lee Winchester, Ricky Wayne Winchester, a daughter, Gweneth Winchester, and seven brothers and sisters.

She leaves to mourn her passing her husband, Thelba “Buck” Winchester, four grandchildren, Cleo (Angel) Winchester, Chris (Lisa) Winchester, Jacky Monroe (Meghan) Winchester, Jessica (Tim Deaton) Winchester, 10 great grandchildren, Jacob Bush, Tyler, Alexis, Katlynn, Rosalyn and Ronan Winchester, Kandice Bolton, Damon, Cadence & Jordan Deaton, 2 great grandchildren, Elizabeth Bush & Harper Winchester, one brother, Ronnie Ramsey of Indianapolis, In., and five sisters, Joanne Marsee of Bryantsville, Betsy Johnson of Cincinnati, Oh., and Doris Bell, Patty Moran & Pauline Hatfield of Indianapolis, In.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, January 3, 2020 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home with burial following at the Winchester Farm Family Cemetery. Her visitation will be Friday from 11:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Cleo, Jacky & Tyler Winchester, Tim & Damon Deaton, and Jacob Bush.
