LaVonne J. Thomas passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2019 at her home surrounded by family. A Prayer Service will be 5:00 PM Monday, December 30, 2019 at George Boom Funeral Home & On-Site Crematory, Sioux Falls with visitation until 7:00 PM. Burial will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at Hills of Rest Cemetery, Sioux Falls.

Grateful for sharing her life are her daughters, Sandra (James) Morris of Sumter, SC, Deneice Daggett of Sioux Falls, Shawn (Doug Baartman) Elsing of Crooks, SD, six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Darlene Peterson of Sioux Falls; and a host of additional relatives and friends.

LaVonne was preceded in death by her husband Gene Thomas; and her parents, Kurt and Irene (Buchler) Permann.
