CHRISTOPHER "CHRIS"'S OBITUARY
Christopher Wade Cline, beloved son, brother, and father passed away December 23,2019 surrounded by his family and friends. He was born on August 24, 1977 in Pasadena, Texas. This past year Chris began having health issues, small things at first and then when he was no longer able to work, he was admitted to LBJ Hospital where he was diagnosed with ALS- Lou Gehrig’s disease.

Chris loved family most of all and cherished the his time he got to spend with his girls when they came to visit and with Logan when they could go fishing. Chris loved to fish and being in the outdoors. Many times, he was able to fish a little before work or after with his friend Shane Sanders and he passed his love for fishing on to his kids. He particularly liked fishing at his Uncle James lake where him and Logan would go for the weekend or him and Anthony would go for the day.

Chris liked to cook up a good meal and many family times were spent cooking or fishing or taking his kids on outings, doing the things they loved.

Chris was not a perfect person, but he was a good-hearted man. He had many friends and family and enjoyed time spent with them all. He loved to collect tools and crazy big watches and was always on the lookout for a good deal. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him, and we know he is in a better place where the pain and suffering of this past year are finally gone.

Chris was preceded in death by his father, Andy Wade Cline and his grandparents. He is survived by his children, Taylor Cline of Kilgore, Logan Cline of Deer Park, Cora Cline and Gracey Cline of Kilgore. He is also survived by his mother, Mickey Cline and Don Wester of Deer Park, his brothers, Michael Cline and wife Buffy, Anthony Cline and his girlfriend Jackie Knox, Aunts and Uncles, nieces Monica, Brittany, Parker, Preslee and nephew, Fischer. He is also survived by the mother of his children, Lawayna Stephens, and his longtime friends, Jesse Olivares, Shane Sanders, Brock Sanders, Kenny Wyatt and Rolando Ontiveros. Chris has lived in Pasadena and Deer Park his whole life and leaves behind a host of loving friends, coworkers, and his beloved dog, George.

Memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, December 28, 2019 in the Chapel of Deer Park Funeral Directors with Pastor Jerry Garner officiating. Family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until Service time.

Rest in Peace, Chris. We will always love you.
