Obituary: Stephanie Josephine Walker, 55 of Huntington, WV was born November 6, 1963 to Jeanette Walker Dabney. She attended Western Branch High School in Chesapeake, VA before moving to Huntington, WV in 1982, where she later married and raised three beautiful children Caroline Latoya Walker, Joseph La'Curtis Allen and Courtney Renee Allen. She was the former First Lady of Kings Dominion Ministries a ministry that opened arms to everyone from all walks of life. To add to her accomplishments she was one of the best cooks in the community with grand culinary skill, as well as her ability to create apparel from scratch with grand sewing abilities. Her heart and her doors were always opened to all that she came into contact with possessing a giving spirit as she spread her kindness to others. She was employed at YMCA Child Care facility as a cook until her untimely departure. She is preceded in death by a loving stepfather George Madison Dabney; and two grandchildren, Khanah LaShay Walker and Antwain LaShawn Isiah Miller. She leaves to cherish her memories four siblings, Courtney (Talisha) Dabney of Fayetteville, GA, Angela Dabney of Chesapeake, VA, Georgette Steele of Kileen, TX, and Paulette (Darrell) Anderson of Saint Clair Shores, MI; six Grandchildren, Kiara, Kionta, Khani, Isaac, Ivyana, and Izrellla; with a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends; several nieces and nephews; and a special adopted son Jamar James. Stephanie departed this life on November 1, 2019 at Cabell Huntington Hospital.
