Ms. McCoy was born in Cross Hill to the late William Enoch McCoy and Frances Louise Connor McCoy. She retired from Woven Electronics and later worked at the Simpsonville Ryan’s Steakhouse. She was a member of Abundant Life Church of God and loved singing in the choir. Shirley enjoyed baking, cooking, sewing and reading.
Surviving are a son, Richard McCoy and wife Donna; two grandchildren, Tyler Busby and wife Samantha, and Taylor Bailey; and two great-grandchildren, Davis Busby and Weston Daves. She was predeceased by a brother, Chat McCoy; and two sisters, Frances Turner and Faye Drummond.
Burial in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
