Denise Louise Hill, 59, of Gloversville, passed away peacefully on, Thursday, December 12, 2019; after a long courageous battle with lung cancer. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Denise was born in Albany NY, to the late Ralph W. Hill and Virginia E. Brayden.

Later in her life, Denise became a certified Teachers Assistant. She loved her job working with children for Mayfield Central School District as a faithful, passionate and helped shape the lives and minds of many. Denise could ‘get along’ with anyone.

Many whom she uplifted the hearts, minds and lives of. She was a kind, respectful person who loved her time spent with her husband, Gary Wands on their motorcycles and their “Sketchy Bus.”

Denise’s illness became more onset, but she still loved to bring out smiles and enjoyed camping trips on her Bus, gutted and re-done to her needs and desires by Gary; who would do anything to see her happy. Her Bus was a former International School Bus that Gary made to make the trips’ as comfortable and enjoyable for Denise as she was able to take some “road trips” with her fur babies and best friend and husband, Gary.

She loved all of her children and grandchildren very much, always doing whatever she could to make them feel loved and cherished. They were her pride and joy.

She leaves behind her love, best friend and husband, Gary P. Wands; as well as her children; Dusty Sage Katlin and Rhiannon D. Cragen; her beloved grandchildren, Gavin Christian Schoonmaker, Kaylynn May Lammore and Sage Devine Baretto; lovings sibilings’; Paul D. Hill and Nancy J. Frye. Denise leaves behind her dogs; “Dozier” and “Ginger”. She also leaves behind several nieces, nephews & cousins. Denise was predeceased by not only her parents but also, a brother, Lyle Hill.

In keeping with Denise’s expressed wishes, there will be no formal visitation or service. A cremation took place at Vale Cemetery crematorium Schenectady, NY, 12334.
