She was born May 28, 1946 to Lillie and Joseph Turner in Chanute, Kansas. Kathy graduated from Chanute High School in 1964 and had a successful career in real estate. She was an active member of Faith Bible Church in Chanute and had many wonderful friendships.
She was preceded in death by her mother Lillie Markham, and her sister Mary Lou Turner.
She is survived by her sister Gale Scarlett (Carlton), her father and step-mother, Joseph and Laura Turner, brothers Gary Starr (Julie), David Starr, and sister Vickie Conley (James), many nieces and nephews and her beloved dog, Katie.
The family will greet friends and family on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 from 10-11 a.m. at Countryside Funeral Home Johnson Chapel in Chanute, Kansas. Funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Chanute, KS. Online condolences may be left at: www.countrysidefh.com.
