Funeral services for Mr. Willie Oneal Wade will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 4, 2020, in the Chapel of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale with Reverend Jessie Granvle officiating. Interment will follow in St. James Cemetery, Bayou Chicot, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale.
Mr. Wade, 81, of Oakdale, entered eternal rest on Friday, December 27, 2019 in Allen Oaks Nursing Home, Oakdale, LA.
Willie enjoyed playing dominos and was a very good poker player, he also enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Allean Wade and his brother, Hillary Wade.
Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory include his four sons, Willie Samuel Wade, of San Diego, CA, David Wade, of Houston, TX, Mark Wade and his wife, Beverly, of Crownpoint, NM, Jarred Oneal Wade, of Portland, OR; two daughters, Terese Harris, of Numfries, VA and Amber Davis and her husband, Kelvin, of Albuquerque, NM; twelve grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
