Pastorates all in Wisconsin. Trustee to Laurence University, 1871. D. D. from Laurence University, 1880. Manger of the Methodist Book Concern for 12 years.
Chaplain of the Twenty-seventh Wisconsin Infantry which participated in the siege of Vicksburg.

Married Grace Hollister, Aug. 23, 1859, daughter of Ephraim Tiffany Bond and Sarah Sanford (Keeler) Bond. Three known children: Hester, Bond and William Cass Stowe.
