"RITES WEDNESDAY FOR MRS. MCCORKLE
Mrs. Ann Eliza McCorkle, age 85, died at 8:15p.m. Sunday at the home of her niece, Mrs. Fern Michel, 802 Prospect, Indianapolis. She had been ill for a year and in a serious condition for eight weeks.
Born October 22, 1860 in Tipton county, she was the daughter of Watson and Nancy Lee Summerville. In 1892 she was married to Alonzo C. Bosley, who died in 1910. Late she was married to John H. McCorkle on January 8, 1918. He preceded her in death in 1925. The residence of the deceased was in Rush county during most of her life.
Included amount the survivors are three sisters, Mrs. Addie Antrobus, Miss Emma Summerville, and Mrs. Cora Michel, all of Indianapolis; a step-daughter, Mrs. Maud Cowan of Milroy; two nephews, Ray Riche of Indianapolis and Paul McDaniel of Rushville.
Funeral services for Mrs. McCorkle, who was a member of the Milroy Methodist church, will be held at 10a.m. Wednesday in the Murphy Funeral home in Milroy. The Rev. R.O. Lahue will be in charge, and burial will be in Milroy cemetery."
