James “N. L.” Peel, 85, passed away November 6, 2017. Th e son of Arthur C. and Velma (Pilgrim) Peel, James was born October 9, 1932 in Oil Trough, Arkansas.
Prior to his retirement in 1994 he was employed by Jenn-Air where he served as a model maker for kitchen appliances. He enjoyed bowling and watching Nascar.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 23 years, Nancy Peel; daughters, Connie Snyder and her husband, Larry, Judy Luna and her husband, Melvin, Rebecca Groce and her husband, Terry, Patty Covert and her husband, James and Teresa and her spouse, Renee; son, James Peel; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sandra Peel.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon November 11, 2017 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis where a celebration of his life will follow at 12:00 noon. A graveside service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. November 13, 2017 at New Crown Cemetery, Indianapolis.
