Sharon Diane Dawson was born on November 6, 1947 in Gloucester, Massachusetts, the daughter of George and Carol (nee Smith) Dawson. She was a graduate of Gloucester High School. On August 7, 1973 she married James Dillon, Jr. in Portland, Maine. James preceded her in death on March 4, 2009. Sharon enjoyed crossword puzzles and word searches. She loved playing with her great-grandchildren and taking care of everyone. She was truly selfless and her family’s security blanket.
Sharon is survived by her children, Michael (Tracy) Dillon of Fond du Lac and Kelly (Camrin) McDonald of Watertown; grandchildren, Jordan (Chris Medira) Dillon, Matthew Messenger, Tyler Messenger, Brady Dillon, Brenden Bell, Kiya McDonald and Jaden McDonald; great-grandchildren, Tobias, Carter, Addie and Leila; brother, David Dawson of Beverly Hills, Florida as well as other relatives and friends. She was further preceded in death by her parents and brother, George “Fred” Dawson.
