Desert Sun dec 15, 1979 Stanley Urban Bayler, 68, of Palm Desert who died Tuesday in Eisenhower Memorial Hospital. A native Californian, he was a retired policeman, having worked 27 years with the Los Angeles Police Department. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Bayler; two daughters, Joanne Ballard of Palm Desert and Bonnie LeCesa of Oregon; a brother, Howard Bayler of Los Angeles; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Services were held in the Palm Springs Mortuary Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Lloyd Saatjian of the United Methodist Church. Interment was in Desert Memorial Park.
