GASTONIA - Charlotte Yelton Hilmon, 82, died March 19, 2008, at Gaston Memorial Hospital.
She was a native of Bakersville, N.C., the daughter of the late Wes and Pearl Forbes Yelton.
A funeral service with Pastor Robert Ammons officiating will be held 2 p.m. Saturday at the Founders Chapel of McLean Funeral Directors - Gastonia.
Interment is at Gaston Memorial Park.
Visitation is from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Hilmon was retired from Easco Tools. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Staff of Gaston Memorial Hospital and Gaston Hospice.
Survivors include her son, James K. Yelton and wife Rita of Belmont, daughter, Shelby Y. Shelby and husband Frank; one brother; three sisters; grandchildren, James K. Yelton, Jr., Leonard Frank Shelby, III, Windy Dawn Shelby, Wesley Jerrell Shelby and Marah Anne Shelby; great-grandchildren, Jensen Paige Shelby and Kaylee Elizabeth Shelby.
