Rick was born in Chicago, Illinois, on August 6, 1955. Rick was a United States Army Veteran from the Vietnam Era and served for many years in the Army Reserves. He was a retired truck driver and a former worker for Opryland Theme Park.
Rick is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Debbie Foster Neill; son, Richard (Roberta) Neill, Jr.; daughters, Barbara Ann Neill, Marie Sjostrom and Lucy Neill; stepson, Robert (Christie) Foster; 3 brothers, and 1 sister; three grandchildren, Richie Neill, III, Elizabeth Foster and Austin Foster; and one great-grandchild, Oakley Pappared.
Rick wishes were to be cremated and interred in Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery. Graveside service with military honors will be held Monday, July 1, 2019 at 11 am. Cheatham County Funeral Home 615-792-2552 online condolences may be made at cheathamcountyfh.com
