Kathleen had resided in Harrison since 1990, moving from St. Charles, Michigan. She worked many years as a sales clerk, cashier and meat cutter before owning and operating the Friendly Tavern of St. Charles for over ten years. Ms. Beasley was passionate about her sewing and book reading. She also enjoyed needlepoint and being surrounded by the beauty and splendor of nature.
Surviving Kathleen are her three loving children; Rebecca Mason of St. Johns, Michigan, Barney Mason of Harrison and Ben Mason and wife Staci of Lansing, Michigan, eleven grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, one sister in-law, Mary Elsea of St. Johns, one aunt, Marie Smith of St. Johns, plus many nieces, nephews and cousins. Ms. Beasley was preceded in death by her parents, two daughters; Kathy Mason and Cindy Trevino, one grandson, Mario Trevino and one brother, William “Bill” Elsea.
Graveside services honoring Kathleen will be held Friday, October 18, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. from Mount Rest Cemetery, St. Johns.
