E. Pauline Grant, 101, of Hannibal, MO, passed away at 10:50 AM Wednesday, December 25, 2019, at Tri County Care Center in Vandalia, MO.

Funeral Services will be at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at the First Presbyterian Church in Hannibal, MO. Pastor Mark H. Hughes will officiate.

Burial will be at Grand View Burial Park in Hannibal, MO.

Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until the time of services Tuesday at the church.

Pauline was born August 30, 1918, in Bowling Green, MO to Joseph Arthur Betts and Dessie Bell Page Betts.

She was married to Carl E. Grant on September 7, 1940. He preceded her in death on February 24, 1993.

Survivors include 1 brother, Bill Betts (Peggy) of Bowling Green, MO and numerous nieces and nephews that she considered her children.

Pauline is preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, Richard Betts, Glen Betts, and 3 sisters, Eileen Brown, Wanda Moorefield and Willene Gamm.

Professionally Pauline was a beautician. She was the owner and operator of Pauline's Beauty Shop in Hannibal, MO.

Pauline was a wonderful baker and made the best gooseberry pie. During the Christmas season she loved to make Holiday Cookies and candies for her family and friends. An active volunteer, Pauline was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, a volunteer with the NALC and a member of Beta Sigma Pi. Family was Pauline's world and she simply loved the moments they shared together.

A longtime member of the First Presbyterian Church in Hannibal since 1949. Pauline loved to sing in the choir at her church.

Memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church.

Pallbearers will be Richard Betts, Larry Brown, Steve Gamm, Kent Betts, Monte Sisson and Mack Betts.
