Dale F. Kozlowski, age 64, of 10401 Highway 42, Two Rivers, died unexpectedly Thursday afternoon, Dec. 15, 2005, at the Aurora Medical Center, Two Rivers.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 19, 2005, at Grace Congregational United Church of Christ, 2801 Garfield St., Two Rivers. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Kim Henning, with cremation to follow.

Dale was born July 10, 1941, in Two Rivers, a son of DeLilles (Allie) Kozlowski Grimm and the late Martin (Marty) Kozlowski. He attended St. Luke's Grade School, and Washington High School, graduating with the class of 1959. On Sept. 10, 1960, he married Kathleen Luce at St. Luke Catholic Church in Two Rivers. He retired from Architectural Forest Products in 2003. Dale was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time at his cabin in Tipler. He was competitive in all sports and played many years of softball for St. Joe's Athletic Club. Dale was also an active member of the West Shore Sportsman's Club for many years, and will be greatly missed.

Survivors include his wife: Kathy; two sons and a daughter-in-law: Steven Kozlowski and special friend, Debbie Cunningham, Christopher and Melissa Kozlowski, all of Two Rivers; two daughters and sons-in-law: Sarah and Keith Coenen, Two Rivers; Paula and Brian Schoeffel, Manitowoc; his mother; DeLilles Grimm, Two Rivers; six grandchildren: Collin Kozlowski, Amanda Coenen and special friend, Ryan; Andrew Coenen and special friend, Kristin; Randon Schoeffel and special friend, Amanda; Katie Schoeffel and special friend, Ian; and Jacklyn Schoeffel; two great-grandchildren: Maddelyn and Kylee. He is further survived by two brothers and sisters-in-law: Paul and LuAnn Kozlowski, Sturgeon Bay; Marty and Sandy Kozlowski, Two Rivers; five sisters and three brothers-in-law: Karen and Bob Peterson, Judy and Lee Stefaniak, Jan VanDrisse, Therese Dodge and special friend, Don Rivest, and MaryJo and Ron Strong, all of Two Rivers; a sister-in-law and a brother-in-law: Sharon (Roger) Schleis, Manitowoc; and Todd (Karen) Luce, Two Rivers; nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends also survive.

He was preceded in death by his father: Marty Kozlowski, Oct. 6, 1961, a brother-in-law: Thomas Dodge, and his father-in-law and mother-in-law.

Friends may call at the Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, Two Rivers, from 5 until 8 p.m. Sunday evening. Visitation will continue at Grace Congregational Church, after 12:30 p.m. Monday until the time of service at 1:30 p.m.

Memorials may be made to Grace Congregational Church or West Shore Sportsman's Club.
