After a brief illness Willie James Parrish went home to be with the Lord on October 4, 2019 in Newark, New Jersey. He was born March 3, 1940 in Abbeville, AL. He was the son of the late Curtis Barnes and the late Virginia Parrish Kelly.
He was preceded in death by his parents Curtis Barnes and Virginia Parrish Kelly, stepfather, Robert Kelly; sister, Betty Kelly Weems and two brothers: Jerry Kelly and Ray Kelly.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife; three sons; one daughter; two sisters; two brothers; seven grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, October 21, 2019 at 12:00 PM at Unity Funeral Home, 1215 Leona Street, Dothan, Alabama. Interment to follow at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, 1299 County Road 25, Abbeville, Alabama. Arrangements by Unity Funeral Home, 1215 Leona Street, Dothan, Alabama.
