Patricia was preceded in death by her parents Michael and Edith (Thebo) Laux, eight brothers and sisters and son Keith (Butch) Alexander. Patty, as she enjoyed being called, is survived by her husband Wayne Struchtemeyer of the home, daughters Renee Stanley and Gary Stanley, Bonner Springs, KS, Jacqueline (Jackie) and her husband Michael Riley, Olathe, KS, stepson David and wife Kelley Struchtemeyer, Bonham, TX, and stepson Jeffrey Struchtemeyer, Austin, TX, eight grandchildren Danny Smith, Heather Clyne, Michael Alexander, Morgan Butsch, Miles Riley, Mary Loecker, Ashley Struchtemeyer, Brandon Struchtemeyer, eight great-grandchildren and one sister Deena Allen along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Pat (also a favorite name) loved being of the Catholic Faith. She was a devout servant to her Lord. During her younger years raising three children, she often volunteered at the Catholic School in Bonner Springs while managing to raise three devoted children as well as holding a full time job. Another favorite of Patty's was dancing with her husband at various events and traveling to many areas in the USA.
The family requests, in lieu of flowers, contributions to Catholic Charities or Saint Jude Children's Hospital.
