Mrs. Ollie Mae King, age 86, of Crab Orchard, KY., wife of Bro. Donald King, passed away Tues. December 24, 2019 at her residence.
She was born on September 27, 1933 in Brodhead, KY., a daughter of the late Charlie and Alta Hazel Owens Leece. She was a faithful and dedicated member of Crab Orchard Pentecostal Church, where she served in many capacities. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother, who enjoyed quilting, gardening, her flowers and her family. On September 16, 1949 she was united in marriage to Donald King and they enjoyed seventy years together. From their union came three children, Kenneth, Donald Wayne, and Virginia Gail.
Those left to celebrate her life are: her husband of seventy years: Bro. Donald King of Crab Orchard, KY; her children: Kenneth (Irene) King of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; Donald Wayne (Pamela) King of Brodhead, KY. and Virginia Gail Owens of Crab Orchard, KY; her grandchildren: Stephanie (Travis) West, Michael (Dede) King, Melissa (Justin) Feldman, Kaitlin and Ashley Owens. Her great grandchildren: Tyler West, Luke West, Jacob West, Emerson West, Cassandra King, and Kayden Feldman. As well as a host of nieces/nephews, church family, friends and neighbors.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Willie, Edgar and Doug Leece; three sisters: Mary Masden, Betty Jo Reeks, Nellie Brummett, and son-in-law: Jackie Owens.
