Jerry Don Eubanks, 84, of Phenix City, AL, passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at home surrounded by his family. A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Eubanks will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 28, 2019 at the Santa Fe Hills Church of Christ in Alachua, FL. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will immediately follow in Newnansville Cemetery. Mr. Eubanks was born, August 13, 1935 in Cardwell, MO, son of the late Glen and Era Eubanks. He graduated from Paragould High School in Paragould, AR. Mr. Eubanks also attended Freed-Hardeman University in Henderson, TN, Florida College in Temple Terrace FL, and received his degree from Harding University in Searcy, AR. Mr. Eubanks was Minister for The Church of Christ for over 40 years. He preached for congregations in Ft. Meade, FL, Rector, AR, Atlanta, GA, Plant City, FL, St. Petersburg, FL, Chiefland, FL and Seffner, FL. We will miss his spirit and passion for sharing the Gospel, but his memory will live forever in our hearts. In addition to his parents, Mr. Eubanks was preceded in death by his son, Donald Lee Eubanks, and his sister, Glenave Curtis. Survivors include his loving wife of 64 years, Barbara; his daughter, Melody McCrary and her husband, Jeff; three grandchildren, Holly McCrary, Steven McCrary and his wife, Sharon, and Nathan McCrary; three great grandchildren, Darcy Lee, Maddy Rose, and Jericho Glen; one brother in law, Ronnie Henderson and his wife, Mary. www.dignitymemorial.com
