Elaine leaves many friends from the many aspects of her life; God, country, sports and pets were complete family affairs. She held her views about God and country very close in her heart unless challenged. Rockhounds, Rangers, Cowboys and Car Racing were only a few of her loves. Then the pets, oh the pets-not just furbabies (especially Labrador Retrievers) but feathers, hooves and reptiles. Very much a life well lived to her own tune.
After and incredible fight, she made it clear that she was ready to go meet Jesus and stop by the Rainbow Bridge to check on the dogs on the way there.
She is survived by Billie Schafer Ruffin (Mother), Marlon L. Scott (Husband), Dustin T. Scott (Son), Debra Day (Sister) & Husband Rick, Otis Ruffin (Brother) & Eric Day (Nephew).
She is preceded in death by Vera and Cecil Schafer, Avin and Rachel Ruffin (Grandparents), Eldon W. Ruffin (Father) & Brian C. Day (Nephew).
