Funeral services for Tina Collins Wilson, 58 of Huntington will be held Saturday, December 28, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Concord Missionary Baptist Church, 203 FM 2743, Zavalla, with Pastor Dave Sarver officiating. Interment will follow in the Concord Cemetery.

Tina was born April 15, 1961 in Lufkin, Texas to Harold and Francis (Rash) Collins, and died Sunday, December 22, 2019 in a Beaumont hospital.

Tina was a firecracker of a woman. She was notorious for her stubbornness, her hard hardheadedness and her fierceness. Many never had the privilege to know her in her prime, but word was that she could dance with the best of them. She would also jump on somebody twice her own size, but a mouse would put her on top of the table. You didn't have to know Tina but a minute or two until you found out just exactly what she thought about you. She never had a problem telling you just what she thought, how she wanted things and if she thought you were right or wrong. She was stubborn until her very last breath and a warrior until the end. The last years of her life weren't what she hoped they would be, but she maintained her spunky attitude through it all. The most beautiful thing about who Tina was is how she loved. Although she didn't always know how to show it, she loved with a passion that is rarely seen. She was proud of the man that her son is and she believed her daughter was the most beautiful woman that God ever created. She loved her grandkids with all of her being and watching them play was probably her favorite past time, maybe even more that smoking cigarettes. She believed in Christ and the example left by her parents can be appreciated. She is at home in a place where she can dance, be herself and have fun for the rest of forever. Your family loves you Tina and here's to no more pain and suffering.

Tina is survived by her son, Robert "Buckshot" Brashear of Lufkin; daughter and son-in-law, Leslie and Chase DuPree of Etoile; grandchildren, Dane Young and Oran Young; step-grandchildren, Lilly DuPree and Gabriel DuPree; sisters and brothers-in-law, Deborah and Shane Havard, Julia and George Cartwright; brother, Harold "Bubba" Collins, Jr. all of Huntington; soul sister, Donna Crawford and her three children; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Francis Collins.
